Dozens of parents sign petition to reopen UNO Child Care Center

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Students with children at the University of Nebraska Omaha are unsure of their future as fall classes approach, still dealing with the loss of the only daycare center on campus.

University officials closed the facility at the start of the summer, saying it was operating at 50% capacity.

Families and staff argued that was because of a lack of advertising about the center.
