Cases of a diarrhea-causing parasite have increased in South Florida. According to the Florida Department of Health, as of July 11, there are 17 confirmed cyclosporiasis cases in Miami-Dade County, seven in Broward County and one in Monroe County. Statewide, there are about 100 cases.
