Tybee Island seeks public input on future of Memorial Park

TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. — Tybee Island leaders are asking residents to help create a long-term vision for one of the community’s most cherished public spaces.

The city has launched the Memorial Park Master Plan, a long-range planning effort designed to guide future improvements through public input. While Memorial Park has served generations of families as a place for recreation, community events and gatherings, officials say it has expanded over the years without a comprehensive plan.
