JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The mother of a man who was beaten to death in the Hinds County Detention Center earlier this month is seeking $10 million in compensation.
On Thursday, Janice Bradley and Dennis Sweet spoke to reporters about a notice of intent to sue the Hinds County Sheriff’s Department and others in connection with the death of Mielun Butler.
