TULSA, Okla. — The Salvation Army is activating its emergency heat relief response as dangerously high temperatures settle over the Tulsa area.
The response is designed to protect individuals and families who are most vulnerable to the life threatening conditions that are expected this weekend and into early next-week.
Temperatures are expected to approach 102 degrees by Monday, with heat index values climbing to around 107 degrees.
