PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Salem man was arrested early Thursday after a traffic stop led to the discovery of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and a restricted weapon.
At 2:19 a.m., police conducted what they initially thought would be a typical traffic stop in the 600 Greencrest Street NE. However, they quickly realized that the suspect, Joshua Walker, 43, had three outstanding warrants, and as a result, they arrested him.

Police reported finding fentanyl on his person, and while searching his car, they discovered a restricted weapon with 100 grams of methamphetamine.
Walker is currently being held at Marion County Jail and faces multiple charges, including the three warrants, unlawful delivery and possession of methamphetamine, and unlawful possession of fentanyl.
