(WSPA) – Friday is mostly sunny and dry, but a few afternoon pop-up showers may be possible in the mountains. There is a low-end severe weather threat for some, so any storms that do form have the potential for gusty winds. Temperatures continue to warm with highs in the mid to upper 90s, upper 80s to lower 90s in the mountains.
Afternoon and evening pop-up storm chances gradually increase through the weekend, with most of that activity in the mountains. It is not expected to be a washout, but a few of the storms could be strong, even severe, with gusty thunderstorm winds. With a little rain, temperatures will cool slightly to near normal with highs in the upper 80s to the low 90s through the weekend…
