LANSING, Mich. (News 10) -Construction is underway on a new Lansing City Hall along East Lenawee Street and South Grand Avenue, and Mayor Andy Schor says the project is built for the modern era.
The new building was constructed with $40 million in state-appropriated funds. Schor said the current city hall requires constant renovations and costs between $1.5 million and $2 million per year in extra maintenance.
