‘I’m not dead yet’: Lexington man, 73, given 45 days to vacate Aylesford apartment

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – A 73-year-old Lexington man says he has just over 40 days to leave his apartment after receiving an eviction notice Wednesday, the latest development in what he and neighbors describe as ongoing pressure from developers in the Aylesford neighborhood.

Robert Alan Glover has lived at Lyndhurst Place in the Aylesford neighborhood since 2018. He said he woke up Wednesday to an email notifying him he has 45 days to vacate.

‘Nobody is talking to us’

Glover said the notice followed weeks of questioning his landlord about the future of the apartment building.

“Nobody is talking to us — the people who pay the rent at the first of the month — they’re talking to each other,” Glover said. “It’s all about money.”…
