SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – All lanes on I-664 north at the Monitor Merrimac Memorial Bridge Tunnel North have reopened following a vehicle fire, according to VDOT.
Traffic was backed up over a mile while emergency crews responded. A detour was in place at exit 8A, which is at College Drive.
A video of the fire was sent to 10 On Your Side by an anonymous viewer.
Officials with Virginia State Police say that no injuries have been reported.
