SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Five people were treated for injuries after a residential apartment fire Friday morning in the 4400 block of Vandever Ave.
San Diego Fire-Rescue received the call at 6:41 a.m. for reports of a fire. Crews arrived to find smoke and flames coming from a bedroom area and quickly began suppression efforts. The fire was successfully knocked down by 6:55 a.m.
Police officers evacuated a 60-year-old man who suffered burn injuries and was transported to UC San Diego Medical Center. Two additional patients were taken to Zion Medical Center for evaluation, while two others were treated and released at the scene…
