(COLORADO SPRINGS) — America and Colorado are celebrating milestone birthdays in a big way this summer. The community is invited to Rock Ledge Ranch on Saturday, August 1, for “United We Rock,” presented by Wings Credit Union. Themed “Party Like It’s ’76,” the event will feature live music, local food, artist vendors, beer and whiskey tastings, and interactive historical experiences. The family-friendly celebration runs from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
One of the featured vendors, The Meltdown, joined Loving Living Local’s Krista Witiak and Justin Antweil in the FOX21 News Studio to talk about being part of the celebration and honoring two milestone birthdays.
“To celebrate your birthday, you need a sweet treat, and that’s where our business can come in and help the community celebrate in a fun way,” said owner Edward Fregoso. “When the city asked us to be part of the event, we said yes without hesitation.”
