Texas town south of San Antonio gets its first Chick-fil-A restaurant

It’s no secret that San Antonio loves its Chick-fil-A, with lines forming at locations across the city every day. A nearby city is expected to show the same fervor for the chicken chain when it rolls into the Texas town for the first time.

Chick-fil-A is days away from opening its first location in Pleasanton, according to a company news release. Customers can visit the brand-new location as early as 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 23. Local owner-operator Veronica Vasquez will lead the Pleasanton location, marking a new chapter in her 20-year journey with Chick-fil-A.

“As someone who grew up in San Antonio, I’m excited to put down roots in Pleasanton and serve this community,” Vasquez said in the news release. “Owning my own business has been a lifelong dream of mine.”…
