CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) — Around 130 golfers stepped up Saturday morning to help support two families battling childhood cancer during the fifth annual Strongman Luca James Foundation Golf Tournament.
What started as a tournament benefiting one family has now grown to help three more. In 2022, 2-year-old Luca James was diagnosed with leukemia, beginning the family’s long and expensive medical journey.
That same year, the golf tournament was started in his honor. And four years later, with Luca in recovery, his mother, Katie Holmes, felt it was time to pass on that support…
