A restaurant in The Villages will be closing its doors this weekend.
The Fenney Grill will shut down operations as of Sunday, July 19.
The establishment opened in 2017. It was a big deal at the time, as it was the first eatery to open in that part of The Villages, which was then far removed from the rest of the sprawling community. The restaurant frequently had a line out the door because it was the best — and only — dining option south of State Road 44.
