PFLUGERVILLE, Texas (KXAN) — Pflugerville ISD leaders said the district is not considering any additional school closures for now, though officials still need to find about $2 million in budget reductions.
Superintendent Dr. Quintin Shepherd shared the update with families and staff after a board meeting this week. He said the board’s May decision to close four elementary schools for the 2027-28 school year addressed most of the district’s budget shortfall, but not all of it.
