BARTOW, Fla. — The Bartow Chamber of Commerce’s “Stuff the Bus” drive is collecting school supplies for students experiencing homelessness and other families in need in Polk County, as the school district reports a growing number of students without stable housing.
The drive collects items such as erasers, pencils and notebooks. The supplies will be sorted July 31 and delivered Aug. 4, according to the chamber.
