PAWLEYS ISLAND S.C. (WPDE) — Investigators with the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant Sunday at Pawleys Island Christian Academy and Pawleys Island Community Church as part of the ongoing investigation into a registered sex offender’s alleged access to children on the church campus.
Heather Pelham, public information officer for the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office, confirmed the warrant was executed at the school and church.
Pelham said investigators are searching the school for documents and other evidence related to the case involving Warren Spence Perry, a registered sex offender accused of violating the terms of his probation after allegedly having access to children at the church and its academy…
