At the Board of Commissioners meeting on July 15, 2026, the Board presented a Resolution honoring Chief John P. Slavin upon his retirement from the Cheltenham Township Police Department after 37 years of dedicated service.
Commissioners each shared remarks about the legacy of service, integrity, and unwavering committment that mark Chief Slavin’s time in the CTPD and the positive impact his leadership has made in the department and the community throughout his tenure.
