A summer camp in the Chicago suburb of Dolton has been shut down by village officials after disturbing viral videos surfaced showing children engaged in physical altercations inside the facility, prompting outraged parents to compare the environment to a “fight club.”

The Village of Dolton ordered the immediate closure of the Rucker Athletics Fitness and Training Center’s summer camp this week as police and village leaders launch an investigation into supervision protocols. The camp, which operated inside a building that had sat vacant for years, will remain shuttered pending a public hearing scheduled for next Thursday.
