Brecksville Home Days entertains on America’s 250th birthday

Brecksville Home Days – a favorite annual event for families and residents – was held June 19-21 on Brecksville Square. The event also recognized America’s 250th birthday.

The fun kicked off on Friday night with the opening of amusement rides at the bottom of the hill along Stadium Drive, followed by musical entertainment by “7 Bridges: The Ultimate Eagles Experience” kicking off the Home Days Concert Series with a two-hour performance on the square beginning at 8 p.m.

More than a dozen booths representing various organizations and the city of Brecksville were set up on the brick pavement along Stadium Drive, as were several food trucks.

Saturday and Sunday’s festivities began with the annual Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School Alumni Association Pancake Breakfast, which took in the horticulture building on Stadium Drive. Activities inside the building on both days, sponsored by the city’s recreation department, included bounce houses, kids’ games, inflatables and a model train show presented by volunteers of Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad…
