CLEVELAND (WJW) — Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint in Northeast Ohio this weekend.

In a news release Monday morning, OSHP said the OVI checkpoint is meant to deter and intercept impaired drivers.
The county where the checkpoint will take place will be announced a day before, and the location will be announced the morning of.
“Don’t let another life be lost for the senseless and selfish act of getting behind the wheel impaired,” the news release said.
