Former members of the Sunshine Ordinance Task Force are crying foul over what they believe is an effort to fill the group with appointees who are sympathetic to City Hall interests.
The task force is one of the more obscure governing bodies, acting as a watchdog to ensure that city departments and officials comply with San Francisco’s public records law, which is among the most permissive in the state.
