WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – Wrightsville Beach’s Ocean Rescue Director Sam Proffitt confirmed they responded to a medical emergency on the beach Sunday, July 19.
The scene was just north of Mallard Street. Crews responded around 1 p.m.
