SB I-35 reopens after semi flips onto side in rollover crash north of Kearney

Southbound Interstate 35 has reopened after being temporarily closed during Monday morning’s rush hour after a semitractor-trailer flipped onto its side during a rollover crash north of Kearney in Clay County, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation’s Kansas City District.

The rollover crash was reported around 5:50 a.m. just north of where I-35 crosses over Missouri 33, according to KC Scout. The driver and passenger were taken to a hospital with injuries.
