Two Arrested After Birmingham Police Drug Trafficking Investigation

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBMA) — Two Birmingham men are facing drug trafficking and drug possession charges following a narcotics investigation conducted by the Birmingham Police Department’s Vice/Narcotics Unit.

According to the Birmingham Police Department, detectives executed a search warrant on Saturday, July 18, at a residence in the 500 block of 3rd Avenue West.

Police said the search resulted in the seizure of multiple controlled substances, including approximately 1,543 grams of marijuana, 36 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, one gram of alprazolam (eight pills), 25 dexmethylphenidate pills, and one gram of Percocet (three pills)…
