ANTELOPE, Calif. — Firefighters contained a two-home fire in Antelope on Monday afternoon, but both homes were ultimately left with significant damage.
Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District responded around 2:30 p.m. for a house fire along the 4000 block of Tawny Meadow Way and arrived to find two homes heavily involved in flames, Metro Fire Capt. Mark Nunez said.
The fire was upgraded to a second alarm to bring in additional resources because of the volume of fire crews encountered. Firefighters were able to quickly put water on the blaze and contain it, Nunez said…
