(FOX40.COM) — A Howe Avenue apartment fire caused major damage to one apartment and injured a cat, the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District announced on Wednesday.
According to officials, Metro Fire and Sacramento Fire Department firefighters responded to 1100 Howe Ave. to find heavy fire coming from a second-story apartment.
