In Lubbock, people don’t just have a preference for their favorite grocery store; they have a loyalty to it, and they won’t be swayed. They don’t at all mind driving a few extra minutes to get there either.
We’ve got surprisingly strong opinions on sports teams, local festivals, and which side of town is the best to live on. (I’m partial to Tech Terrace. The houses are so cute.)
Something We Mostly Agree On
Despite all of our differences, most of us agree that people from Lubbock are exceptionally nice to strangers. We do a lot of chit-chat in public with people we’ve never met in our day-to-day, and it’s enough for outsiders to notice and point it out. (I actually think it’s pretty cool.
