KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement are investigating the death of an inmate in Jackson County, Missouri.
Just after 11p.m. on Thursday, inmates within the Jackson County Detention Center (JCDC) at 7000 E. US Highway 40 notified corrections officers an inmate needed help, according to Sheriff Daryl Forte’s office.
