Early Morning Standoff At Auburndale Mobile Home Park Ends In Two Arrests

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A violation of probation warrant served early Tuesday morning led to the arrest of two Auburndale residents following a brief standoff at the Happy Day Mobile Home Park.

Deputies and K-9 units from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrived at 1311 U.S. 92 West around 3:55 a.m. on July 21, 2026, searching for a suspect with an active warrant. When law enforcement knocked on the front door, no one answered, though deputies reported hearing a voice inside state, “The sheriff is outside. Be quiet.”
