Three men were detained by Pittsburgh police Monday in connection with an assault that occurred during a robbery in an apartment building in the city’s Carrick neighborhood.
Pittsburgh Public Safety Department said a man told police he had been assaulted in his apartment on Merritt Avenue by two men he knew, and one he did not know, who had entered his apartment.
The incident was reported at about 3:30 p.m. The victim told police one man referenced having a firearm and attempted to steal some property, police said. The victim said the suspect did not display any gun and the three fled the apartment…
