ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Officer Anthony Mazurkiewicz was killed on the line of duty four years ago today — and one man is still honoring him.
You may remember Brett Sobieraski — he was a former sergeant of the Rochester Police Department. In 2023, he ran the “8 States for Maz,” a 47-day marathon across eight states. He completed 50 days and raised $100,000 for Officer Mazurkiewicz’s family.
