Grocery store, housing coming to Schenectady’s Hamilton Hill neighborhood

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — New developments are being planned for a portion of the city of Schenectady. A full-scale grocery store and over 170 units of housing is coming to the Hamilton Hill neighborhood.

The $115 million project is the result of collaboration between Schenectady County Metroplex Development Authority, New York State, The Community Builders, Five Corners Development and Save A Lot.

The store will be located at the vacant lot at 750 State St. The housing will be built on Albany and State Streets within one block of the store…
