Before the rides start spinning, the livestock barns fill and thousands of visitors stream through the gates, the Waterford Community Fair takes time to recognize the volunteers who make the annual tradition possible.
More than 150 volunteers gathered Sunday for the fair’s annual Friends of the Fair Picnic, an appreciation luncheon honoring the hundreds of people who contribute their time and effort throughout the year.
