Krispy Boyz, a San Diego-based fast casual restaurant specializing in birria tacos and birria mac and cheese tacos, is getting ready to open a new location in El Cajon at 415 Fletcher Parkway, Unit 737.
The company’s new location was recently revealed through documents submitted to the San Diego Department of Environmental Health and Quality, according to public records. While an exact opening date has not been announced, the new restaurant will bring Krispy Boyz’s signature lineup of fusion tacos, birria favorites, and fried chicken to Parkway Plaza. Customers can also expect the concept’s popular mac and cheese creations, including its original birria mac and cheese taco.
Krispy Boyz first launched in 2020 and has steadily built a following by serving customers at farmers markets across San Diego County. The company currently operates at the Otay Ranch Farmers Market on Tuesdays, the La Jolla Farmers Market on Sundays, the Ocean Beach Farmers Market on Wednesdays, and the Oceanside Farmers Market on Thursdays.
