The Wilderness Art Quarry is celebrating its two-year anniversary by inviting the community to take part in a massive 32-by-12-foot paint-by-numbers mural all day Sunday.
The art gallery focuses on art that allows visitors to bring a piece of the outdoors home, according to the gallery’s website, and owner Sean Vera thought that allowing visitors to become a permanent part of the gallery was a perfect way to celebrate their accomplishment, he said.
“Ever since we opened I wanted to do a mural on the barn, but originally I was going to paint it but I thought it would be more fun to get everyone involved,” he said. “ … From the road when you’re coming down … it’s like perfect line of sight at it.”…
