AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – On Tuesday, July 21st, just before midnight, Richmond County Sheriff Deputies responded to the area of Mike Padgett Highway, just south of Marvin Griffin Road, in reference to a pedestrian who had been hit by a car.
Authorities said that the preliminary investigation indicates the pedestrian was in the roadway when the collision occurred. They taken to a local hospital, where they later died.
