The mother of a 20-year-old North Carolina firefighter who died as a passenger in a car crash in May 2024 is suing a Conway bar, accusing it of overserving the driver of the vehicle.
The lawsuit, filed Tuesday by Jennifer Hill, claims that the driver of the vehicle, Xzavier Webb, had been drinking at Tongy’s Shmackhouse before getting into a car with Hill’s son Danny Nobles Jr.
She claims Tongy’s had a responsibility to stop serving Webb after he started displaying signs that “he was clearly intoxicated.” Hill is also suing Webb for wrongful death, claiming he failed to maintain control of the car due to being under the influence…
