Fast-moving East Bay wildfire near Pleasanton forces evacuations, poses ‘serious threat’ to homes

A fast-moving wildfire near Pleasanton grew to 950 acres Tuesday evening, as evacuation orders remained in effect across parts of Alameda County.

The Little Fire was 10% contained and continued to burn near Vallecitos and Little Valley roads in rural southeastern Alameda County, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
