FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The Allen County Coroner’s Office will hold a ceremony to lay to rest unclaimed and unidentified human remains.
It will honor the remains of those unclaimed at the Allen County Coroner’s Office. Coroner Dr. Jon Brandenberger says the ceremony will reflect his office’s “commitment to serving every member of our community with dignity and respect, even after death.”
“When individuals remain unclaimed, even after extensive investigative attempts to contact next of kin, it becomes our responsibility to ensure they are laid to rest with care and professionalism,” he said…
