SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The Front Porch is asking the community to help ease the financial pressure of back-to-school shopping for Chatham County families.
The youth assessment center is accepting new and gently used school uniforms from Wednesday, July 22, through Monday, Aug. 3. The organization’s goal is to collect 500 uniform items that can be provided to students for free throughout the academic year.
Requested donations include children’s and adult sizes of the following:
- Khaki, black or navy pants, skirts and shorts
- Solid-colored or white polo-style shirts
