Two former employee at the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola have been arrested for malfeasance in office, according to the state Department of Corrections.
Sgt. Alena Goodin, 40, of Natchez, Mississippi, was charged Thursday with one count of malfeasance in office. Goodin had been with the department since June 16, 2025. She is no longer an employee at the prison.
