Fort Worth ISD could not substantiate that Shayma Alzubi, who was reassigned during an investigation of her social media posts, violated the district’s social media policy or state law, according to court documents.
In May, Alzubi was named as principal of Western Hills High School, a position she said she coveted and worked for her entire career. Days later, she was reassigned to a new position, which she said she did not accept, after district officials began investigating her prior social media posts including posts explaining Sharia law.
