BETHLEHEM — Price Chopper and Market 32 are dropping their longtime Fuel AdvantEdge program with Sunoco gas stations, which has provided customers of the two supermarket brands with hundreds of millions of dollars in discounts over the years.
Price Chopper and Market 32 said the program would cease operating on Aug. 1.
Although no official reason for the program ending was provided when asked, company officials have noted that for a while now, customers have preferred to use their AdvantEdge program points for direct discounts at Price Chopper and Market 32 stores instead of at Sunoco…
