The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority is asking for residents input on a Metro Connector Study.
RIPTA said the study will explore ways to provide more reliable and faster transit service.
“Rhode Islanders want to move quickly to and from work and school. R-Line rapid service has consistently moved more than 7,000 passengers daily, year after year” said Christopher Durand, Chief Executive Officer. “With the support of federal grant funds, we are exploring the expansion of this successful model to move even more riders across very busy corridors in the Metro Providence area – supporting both economic activity and access to jobs.”…
