Tyber Creek Pub to Expand in Charlotte’s Gold District with New Neighborhood Bar

Tyber Creek Pub owners Maynard Goble, Tommy Timmins and Kevin Devin are planning to open a new neighborhood pub at the 1501 S. Mint Street property this fall, reports the Charlotte Business Journal.

The owners plan to invest up to $500,000 to convert an existing 2,000-square-foot brick building on the property into the new pub. The project is currently in permitting, with Hood Architecture serving as architect.

The space will feature the original bar from Tyber Creek’s former home at 1933 South Boulevard, along with fixtures, artwork, and décor from the location, which operated for nearly 25 years before closing in March 2024 to make way for redevelopment…
