COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Friday kicks off our next couple of First Alert Weather Days for the off and on rain that may fall heavily at times. This could lead to some isolated instances of minor flooding.

- Noticeably cooler Friday and Saturday with highs in the 80s.
First Alert Summary:
Today will be hot and humid with highs in the mid 90s feeling like triple digits with the humidity factored in.
Although we’ve dropped the First Alert Weather Day for today, there is some rain in today’s forecast, mainly along and north of I-20. While a few areas of light rain have been noted on radar this morning, rain chances this morning remain low. Slightly better rain chances later today, especially late this afternoon and evening.
The front moves into the Midlands and stalls Friday. We see a 60% chance of rain and storms. While not a washout, any downpours moving over some of the same areas may lead to some localized flooding. With additional cloud coverage and off and on rain, we expect mid 80s for highs.
Saturday is also a First Alert Weather Day at about a 50% chance. We’re in the upper 80s by the afternoon. There’s a 40% chance of showers early Sunday as the stalled boundary makes a forward push to the south. We warm up again Monday with highs in the mid 90s…
