Delaware County officials celebrated completed renovations at the Chester Creek Trailhead on Knowlton Road in Middletown Township this week, marking a major upgrade for one of the county’s most popular outdoor recreation spots, according to staff for the Daily Times.
The $378,960 project expanded the trailhead’s parking area, added handicapped-designated spaces, improved accessibility, and addressed longstanding drainage problems. The result is an entrance that’s safer, easier to navigate, and more welcoming for visitors.
