New owners of Cracker Barrel’s shuttered chain break silence on plans for all 35 sister restaurants

CRACKER Barrel has sold off 35 of its breakfast-themed sister restaurants, and the new owners of the shuttered chain have shared some details about its future with The U.S. Sun.

Maple Street Biscuit Company was a subsidiary of Cracker Barrel since it was acquired for $36 million in 2019, but the parent company sold the brand to rival chain Biscuit Belly earlier this month.

Cracker Barrel exited the brand entirely by handing over 35 Maple Street Biscuit Company restaurants to Biscuit Belly, the Louisville, Kentucky-based brunch chain shared with The U.S. Sun.
